I'm Nikolett Mayer
I’m a family photographer based in Basel, Switzerland, with a deep love for exploring every corner of this beautiful country. From Basel to Zurich, Lucerne, Bern, and everywhere in between, I’m always happy to travel to you and capture your story where it feels most meaningful.
My goal is to create a calm, relaxed atmosphere where you and your family can truly be yourselves. The most beautiful images happen when you feel comfortable, when the laughter is real, the hugs are natural, and nothing feels forced. I’m here to document your family authentically, just as you are and just as you want to be remembered.
I offer my sessions primarily in English and Hungarian (my mother tongue), and I also speak and understand High German. As for Swiss German I’m learning more every day, thanks to my 4.5-year-old daughter.

My journey with photography began back in high school, but life led me down different paths for a while. It wasn't until we moved to Switzerland in 2019 that I rediscovered my passion for photography. The breathtaking landscapes here is so inspiring! Then, in 2021, when my daughter came into the world, my love for photography evolved even further. Capturing the beauty of family moments became my greatest joy.
